As of today we are more than 200 members of Picture it! 204 to be exact. This is great but the best part is that we are still expecting a number of students yet.

It´s nice to see that so many of you are allready publishing pictures. Don´t forget to look att each others photos and reply your coomments. It´s always nice to hear thay your work is appreciated. Newsletter January 2012

Dear all!
The Picture it project is up and running and we are as of today 160 members, but we are still waiting for some schools to arrive. I hope that we will reach the magic 200 in February.
The students have been working on our first topic “Family” and we will soon slide over to topic number two “Dreams”. To keep a steady pace through the project we will start with a new topic each month but if that doesn’t suite you, you can do as you please, but don’t expect the majority of the members to reach a certain topic ahead of time.
In a few days we will take a look at all the contributions in the first topic and publish our choices for “pictures of the month”.
PLEASE REMEMBER:
You must brand your pictures before you publish them on the forum. Read more about branding under the instructions tab on the webpage.
REQUEST TO TEACHERS
Please check that all of your students have signed up for the project.
How do you do this?
Do an advanced search of “name of school” in the members section.

Dear all!
The Pictureit project has been officially opended for two weeks and most schools are back from their holidays. But I am still missing some of you. We are allready more then 100 members and I hope that we will pass the twohundred line before the project is over in june. It´s also nice to see that some of you students allready have been taking pictures for our first monthly topic "Family". Don´t forget to visit the topics forum once in a while to add remarks and get the discussions going. Once again I would like to welcome you all to six months of fun with the Picture it project.

Welcome to Picture it!

Picture it is a project that includes mutual understanding and collaboration between students and teachers from Asia and Europe. The project was initiated at the 10th AEC.NET Conference in Dundalk Ireland 2011.

We aim to foster collaborations among secondary and high school teachers and students in Asia and Europe with the view to promoting collaborative, cross-cultural learning and exchanges among ASEM countries. This is also the key objectives of the AEC-NET programme. Read more about the AEC.NET.

As a member of the AEC.NET we are also a member of the ASEF family. The Asia-Europe Foundation promotes greater mutual understanding between Asia and Europe through intellectual, cultural and people-to-people exchanges.

In the past 14 years, ASEF has implemented over 500 projects, bringing together more than 15,000 direct participants and reaching out to an even wider audience in Asia and Europe. Read more about ASEF.ORG.

This is the first year that our project also competes in the Swedish "Webbstjärnan" awards. "Webbstjärnan" was initiated by .SE the Swedish foundation for Internet infrastructure. Read more about "Webbstjärnan".
